ACCESS PROJECTS AS A VIEWER
With Portfolio Planner you can have access to your projects as a view. This means you have same function as if you were using the normal planning tool, but you just do not need training to make sure you don't mess up the plan.
You can apply filters, groups and sorting, and your actual project remains intact.
SAVE YOUR PROJECT FOR EASY ACCESS
When you have opened a projekct with Portfolio Planner once, the path will be remembered, at next time your need to opent the project you just click on the project in Portfolio Planner. No need to browse through the entire file struction. This means that your normal file structure on your fileserver is not jeopardised.
Portfolio Planner links to your original files, so you always have the latest version.
COMBINE SEVERAL PROJECTS IN THE SAME VIEW
With Portfolio Planner you can combine several projects in the same view, even though they are in differing formats, for example MS Project (.mpp and/or .xml) and/or Primavera (SQL and/or SQLite).
Your projects become as ‘one project/ file’ and you can see all the activities in the same view. You can apply filters, groups and sorting, as though they were one. Each project’s individual integrity remains intact.
You create you own portfolio (folder structure), in Portfolio Planner. This means that your normal file structure on your fileserver is not jeopardised.

Add projects simply with drag-drop or import projects directly into your portfolio.

TRACE/TRACK PREDECESSOR AND SUCCESSOR
In Portfolio Planner, you can "jump" between predecessor and successor.
This allows you to trace critical path in a simple way.
Double click on the predecessor/successor you want to follow or use the "Jump" function to go to the highlighted predecessor/successor
